On a side note, I was at my local SDM yesterday and saw the new(to canada) Professional UV Gel Curing Lamp from Nailene and was super curious about it! I love the idea of being able of doing it yourself. Unfortunately, the Nailene website has NO info about it up, just pictures... Has anyone heard about this product or used it? I am really considering buying it..

i have been eyeing that too for a little while. I just visited the nailene site today and they have the instructional videos up now for the clear, colored and french gels. What's interesting is their uv gel comes in a nail polish type jar and is applied like it too..Hmmm
I saw the nailene uv set and decided to splurge on me!
I am so happy I did.
I have never done salon gels before because it seemed like a long term cost I was not interested in.
So far no regrets. Each time I do them it is getting easier and I am getting better. I also searched online for hints to improve my results and they make sense.
Nailene needs to advertise this wonderful product and expand their color selection.
This could be the end of the salon nail industry if Nailene expands their product line!
