For about the last week or so I have been 'drooling' over these. I am talking about feather hair extensions. I first saw them a while ago actually. But after seeing them in Kandee Johnson's video of her showing how to install them, I was sold(video below).
I just love the look of these in the hair and how you don't have to be committed to a look, like you would when dying your hair.
Something else that I love about them is that they are so easy to use! And apparently you can also wash them, curl them, brush them and they stay in tact. After finding out about these beauties, I added 'Famous Feathers" as a friend on Facebook and coincidently enough they were holding a contest to win some feather extensions.
I of course jumped on the idea and entered.
Lucky enough, I won! I chose as my prize a bundle of mixed feathers (2 Hot Pink/Black Stripe , 1 Black, 2 Black/White Stripe). You will definitely see these beauties featured in the near future when they arrive in the mail..... for now, enjoy these photos I found and Kandee's video on how to install them.

As an added obsession, I have been always intrigued by fish tail braids, but never knew how to do them. I recently learned how to do these and am so obsessed by them! I think they are a cool twist on the traditional braid.
