SNEAK PEEK: Rihanna gets NAKED.... for Nivea!

Rihanna, who is gorgeous with little or no makeup is the new 'voice' of NIVEA. NIVEA is celebrating their 100th anniversary this year, she will be the new spokesperson for their promotional campaign, '100 Years Skincare for Life." 
Rihanna will sport a topless, fresh faced and nude coloured nailed ad that is set to launch with her Summer 2011 LOUD World Tour(MAY), which of course is sponsored by NIVEA.



“Over the past 100 years, NIVEA has been an iconic skincare brand across the world that is built on the trust of our consumers,” says NIVEA board member, Markus Pinger. “We are excited to have Rihanna supporting us in our celebration and building a new generation of fans.”

In the mail: L'oreal Nutri-Sleek

Yesterday, I was fortunate enough to receive this new line up of hair care from L'oreal. It's called Nutri- Sleek. 

I remember being emailed a while ago and asked what my hair type was and this is why they sent me this line for dry, unmanageable hair. The line looks promising, as it contains Mediterranean Argan oil(which I have tried before) and found very moisturizing. It is suppose to "intensely smooth, nourish and calm right to the ends, make the hair silky and manageable and 4x smoother and 48hr frizz free". 

I cannot wait to try the line up! Have you tried this line of hair products? I saw it at my local Shoppers on sale for $4.99CAD each, regular price $7.99CAD each.

L'oreal sent me the shampoo, conditioner, anti-frizz serum and smoothing cream care.

I hope it works.......If you follow me, you probably saw my post about wanting the new Olay Professional ProX advanced cleansing system..... well here it is :) I have been bugging the merchandisers  of this store so much to find me this product! and well it finally came in!!! YAY! I am so excited to use it tonight!!! I took some pictures of it before I start using it. 
One thing that I am grateful for is that it came with two batteries. You know how you'll buy something but the batteries are not included and you have to go back to the store to buy some....? Nope not Olay. I have to say Olay is impressing me more and more.... And on top of that it was only $32.99CAD! Have you used this product? Let me know! 

HAPPY BIRTHDAY: Rihanna's birthday look

Two days ago was one of my favourite singers birthday. Of course it was the stunningly beautiful Rihanna! This post is basically to show you her dress, because it definitely is different! 

I really like it. But would have loved it if it did not have the purple tassels at the bottom. But I guess it would look great while she danced in it. I would wear it for sure without them though.

Can you believe this multi talented and successful beauty only turned 23! WOW!

I think it's cute that she was playing Wii at her birthday party!

I also love her nails! They are super hot!

WOW! Way to make an entrance! Lady Gaga has to be the queen of entrances. She showed up today in an egg shaped "Coffin" to the Grammy's, which was carried by four men.

The gorgeous, talented and VERY busy, Jennifer Lopez, has recently been announced as the Global ambassador for Gillette Venus. If being a mother, American Idol judge, singer, actress, and the face for L'oreal Paris is not enough, she has boosted her public profile to start this year off with this next adventure.

As the new ambassador for Gilette, Jennifer will be in tv and print advertising, attend public relations and social media. And on top of that, she will apparently remake the iconic Venus song. 

What do you think about this new adventure for Jennifer? I thinks she will be awesome. She is definitely a real woman and a stunning one at that. And plus, her legs are amazing!

SNEAK PEEK: "Shine like an actress" Anna Sui makeup spring/summer2011

So today I was fortunate enough to attend the Anna Sui training session here in Vancouver, to learn about the new makeup coming out this year. This year will feature a whole new lip collection, fun packaging and awesome gift with purchases. As usual the products are all fun and cute. So rather then just talk about them, I hope you enjoy these exclusive photos, sorry some are not the best quality, they were taken with my phone camera!

A Sneak Peek at Dior 360 mascara

I may or may not be too late to talk about the launch of the new mascara by Dior, called 360. I just recently found out about it. And had to share some info about it!


You can buy it online at Sephora for $36USD.


This mascara promise volume, curl and length. With its revolving brush with a helicoid shape, it is suppose to reproduce the most advanced techniques of professional makeup artists. It's formula contains micro waxes which coat, lengthen and sculpt the lashes. It is not waterproof but is suppose to set for hours on end.

I personally cannot wait to try it out. However review I have read, have not been good. I think it maybe a spinoff of Lancome's Oscillation mascara.

ATTENTION ALL YOU 20somethings: Sneak Peek at Clarins

ATTENTION ALL YOU 20somethings!!: If you are anything like me; a girl in her 20's who has had her fair share of skin problems all through her youth and is now faced with the horrible reality that it all goes 'down hill' after 25 years old. Then please...keep reading. Of course having to deal with 'bad' skin when I was younger already put me on the 'skincare' bandwagon at an early age. However, at this time I have to say my skin is pretty good. Which, I wish at this point meant that I didn't have to keep up with skincare, but I know that a good, basic skincare regime early on will help achieve beautiful skin later on... so that being said, I was pleased to see one of my favourite skin care lines announce their launch of a line of products targeted at us 20somethings! Of course my excitement died a little when I found out it would not launch until March 2011 in Canada. However I can't wait to try it. 

It is called "Daily Energizer", from Clarins which offers five formulas which treat shine, unevenness, dry skin and small spots of fatigue. They developed the line for women who don't want anything oily but still want the effective ingredients combined with a luxurious texture. The line contains a gel cleanser which foams with water, a wake up booster(probably targeted for those late nights) which contains red currant, green coffee and white tea extracts to boost the skins tone and radiance, three moisturizers in a cream-gel/cream or lotion texture.

I definitely cannot wait for this line to launch so I can actually try them... what I hope for is that Clarins made the price range fair enough for us 20somethings who are just trying to figure life out....and our back accounts... haha..

MAC + Lady Gaga = Heaven

Mother Monster has announced her second collaboration with MAC cosmetics. Lady Gaga will be the 2011 MAC Viva Glam spokesperson. Her 2010 collaboration with Cyndi Lauper helped MAC achieve its most successful year in support of the MAC AIDS Fund.

This visual of Lady Gaga was created by Nick Knight and styled by Nicola Formichetti, to create a pose for her which is not her usual; a real angel.

She is adorned with pearls and diamonds in her hands and her makeup is of a smokey eye with a matching nude lip. And of course her platinum blonde hair.

Sneak Peek: OPI & Katy Perry nail polish collection for Spring 2011

Another nail polish post about OPI teaming up with another singer...... this time Katy Perry... I can definitely post this one without any doubt. Unfortunately these polishes will not be out until Spring 2011. I like the advertisement for this collection. Very colourful...! and for the polishes... well I think these are more what I would like....especially the shatter top coat! Can't wait to see them in person! What do you think of these colours?
