Pros: Great that you can use it on your eyes and lids. Light weight formula that glides in. Moisturizes great.
Cons: Used a whole jar up and didn't find that my dark circles were changed much, which was quite disappointing. Even though it moisturizes great, so do many other products. Didn't like the jar packaging as it is quite unsanitary to dip your fingers in each time.
The bottom line: I really wanted to like this product but I was quite disappointed on its claims. It is an okay eye cream, but nothing special. I was actually going to buy the larger size when I got it, kinda happy I didn't.

MasCarA.iS.GoD....HoW.to.ChooSe.ThE.Right.MasCarA.

Playing up your eyes can be easier than you think. It can be overwhelming sometimes to walk into any makeup store and not know which mascara to get. Which mascara is the best? There are so many to choose from. I'd like to make things a little clearer. Mascara is a personal choice. Whether you want volume or length or what about both. It can be confusing sometimes and with new formulas arriving in stores it seems every other week! So I ask you the question:
What is more important: the brush or the paint formula?
Of course the formula makes a difference but the wand/brush in the tube makes all the difference in the result.
If you want:
Thick voluminous lashes: Choose a larger thick brush. They will make you look like you have more lashes. Try: Dior Show or Lancome Hypnose Drama($31CDN each) or Smashbox Bionic($22CDN) or try budget-friendly Cover girl lash blast($9.99CDN)
Long lengthy lashes: Choose a thinner longer brush. They will make your lashes long. Try: Smashbox Hyper lash($24CDN) or Clarins Wonder Length($29CDN) or budget-friendly Cover girl Lash blast length
Defined/separated lashes: Choose a comb brush or a brush with bristles that are far apart. Try: Lancome Definicils($31CDN) or Smashbox Hyper lash($24CDN) or Clinique High lengths($22CDN) or budget friendly Maybelline Define-A-Lash($9.99CDN)
Natural looking lashes: Choose a medium sized brush. Try: Dior show unlimited or budget friendly Maybelline Great lash($9.99CDN) or L'oreal Voluminous in Natural
Curled lashes: Choose a brush that is curved. Using the brush with the curve pointing down and starting at the base of the lashes will help curl even the straightest lashes. Try: Clinique High Impact Curling($22CDN) or budget friendly L'oreal Lash out with curled brush($11.99CDN)

Choosing a formula of mascara that contains rayon or nylon fibers can lengthen lashes. Other ingredients can include water, wax thickeners(usually more in volumizing mascaras), film formers and preservatives. I usually recommend to choose a mascara from Smashbox only because I know that they are tested safe around the eyes and do not contain coal or tar.

Did you know?
*Egg whites are often used in coloured mascara.
*The word "Mascara" comes from the italian word maschera which means "mask".
*Early mascara was made from coal dust and mixed with petroleum jelly (vaseline).
*The first mascara product was made by Eugene Rimmel in the 19th century. The word "rimmel" or "rimel" meaning "mascara" in several languages(portuguese, turkish, romanian, italian, and persian.)
