Pros: Contains a 0.5% of salicylic acid to help shed dead skin cells and help unclog pores and clearing breakouts, 

Vitamin B3 which helps decrease hyper pigmentation that causes scarring, inflammation from the pimples and anti aging as well, Piroctone olamine which helps by being antibacterial to cleanse pores, soothes irritated skin, and is a great anti oxidant, and also contains Linoleic acid which is a gentle exfoliator to help cell regeneration. It's a light weight gel texture. Not drying on the skin.

Cons: Wish it came in a larger size. A pump would be great for fool proofing the amount needed while dispensing.  

The bottom line: I've tried many acne lotions and creams and I find this one to be one of my favourites. It's like a face cream and spot treatment in one.

Your skin is affected by your chrono biological clock called your Circadian Bio Rhythms. Which means that many of our skin functions are circadian rhythmic. A study done "found a statistically significant circadian rhythmicity characterized by Cosinor analyses in transepidermal water loss, skin surface pH, and skin temperature in the forearm, forehead and shin."  Basically meaning that at different times of the day, our skin and bodies go through changes. 

Our skin within a 24 hour period exfoliates itself up to 30-fold, exfoliating the most around midnight and the least at about noon. The flow of blood, amino acids and water loss are about 25% higher at night then in the morning or afternoon. Which means that using a heavier cream or hydrating serum at night is important to lock in moisture. We can find our skin twice as oily at noon and more acidic during sleep. (Journal of Investigative Dermatology (1998))

Using the appropriate skin care for each part of the day is very important because your skin care can work with your natural clock to promote healthy radiant skin. During the day our skin needs to protect itself from free radicals such as the sun(uva/uvb rays). Using a sunscreen is important during the day as well as something with antioxidant protection. 

I recommend using Clarins Hydra-quench line, it contains their E3P technology which helps protect against pollution and electromagnetic rays. It also uses hyaluronic acid to keep hydration in the skin, katafray bark to restructure the corneal layer and help with dehydration, Sorbier tree bud to stimulate microcirculation and vitamin e to protect against free radicals.

For night time I recommend the Clarins Multi-Active Night cream. This cream is great for nights even when they are short and you wake up to radiant skin that seems like you have had a full nights sleep. It will also help boost the natural cellular renewal cycle that happens during the night that is disturbed by daytime stresses.
