FOTD: Angel Eyes: Silver and Blue

Friday night and I am back again with another look ! I created this look the other day... purely out of boredom and creativity.... I wanted to use colours that I don't usually use.. so I decided to go with silver, baby blue and royal blue. 
I think it turned out pretty great. I really fell in love with this look, I wish I had somewhere to wear it to that day. 
What are your plans for the weekend? For myself, I have a few birthday and farewell parties to attend. I did have to work today. Glad I did, it was great!

FOTD: YSL Inspired Spring look - Easter colours

Evening. How has your week been so far? Happy Hump day... and Happy 420 to those who celebrate it (I do NOT! as I do not smoke.... however I love how everyone was in a great mood today!) haha. 
Today I wanted to show you a look that I created a few days ago. I decided to film the look.... I hope that you can check it out :) 

The look was created from an inspirational photo of YSL's Spring 2009 makeup look. I wanted originally to do a look inspired by Easter... as it is just around the corner... and I really liked the colours of this photo, so I thought that they would fit perfectly :)

For those of you wondering, and keeping up with my busy life.. the ABA hair show went well! The hairstylist(who is award winning :) ) really liked the makeup I did. The photo shoot however, that I was suppose to do yesterday was postponed as the photographer was sick :( 
I did however get two more job offers, so all is well!

Tequila Sunrise: Yellow, Orange and Red

No, I am not dead... as some of you may have been wondering... I have just been so pre occupied with other things. I totally wanted to do an update post the other day... but never got around to it.. it has been about a week since I wrote my last post... I know... I am a horrible blogger... and I apologize!!!
Even though I have not been blogging, does not mean that I have not been busy with makeup. I have been receiving some pretty amazing offers, dealing with me doing makeup for events and photo shoots and music videos that I really have not had time or well the motivation to blog. I have also been so caught up with personal things, which I prefer not to bore you with.. 
Anyways, the other day I really wanted to do a tutorial, however I was so unmotivated to do one... I had no idea what colours to use and where to begin. So I decided to ask my friends for colour combinations... One of my friends (Seiz), who happens to be the one singing on my video, came up with this colour combination. So, I basically took the idea and 'ran' with it... At first, to be honest, it looked horrible, but as I progressed in the process, I totally loved it. 
Doesn't it remind you of a cocktail? Such as Tequila Sunrise or a Peach Bellini? Anyways.... I really  hope that you guys like this look... Let me know what you think with a comment below! And if you have any requests or suggestions or colour combos you want to see... let me know! I am totally open to new ideas! :) Take care and I hope to make another blog post soon!

Ocean Waves: Turquoise and Royal Blue eyeshadow tutorial

What an awesome weekend that was for me.... I hope you all had a great one as well.... here we are back to the work week.... 
I did this look this Friday when I went out with my friends and I filmed me doing it... so here is a tutorial.. It was totally inspired by the ocean... which I was thinking about, after the sunny day we had here in Vancouver, I was thinking about the beach... and so why not something inspired by the ocean! 
Turquoise is definitely one of my favourite colours.. So I absolutely adore this look.... Let me know what you think about it?

Stylish Volcano - Pink and Grey eyeshadow tutorial

If you saw my post a couple days ago, I posted my looks for the week. I got a lot of compliments on my eyeshadow that was pink and grey. So I of course decided to do a tutorial for those that asked for it. I added in a purple to make it a little different... what do you think??

Haha...I obviously had a lot of fun taking picture... Camera Whoreing!! I have to apologize....

You can wear this look for daily use, you can wear it out with friends, to work, or whenever you want.

Makeup tutorial: Simple brown eyeshadow(everyday look)(VIDEO)

Well hello lover-lies! How are you doing on this fine friday night? haha..... well I am back with another video! This one is of a look that I created actually a few days ago. I wanted to make a simpler eyeshadow tutorial as I have had many requests for easy to do, or makeup for everyday, - from all of my friends and fb fans. So I created a simple look using three brown eyeshadows.

EOTD: touche de bronze

Hey you! How was your tuesday? Well mine was filled with cleaning...house cleaning. And later tonight, I will be off to my pole dance classes. I don't know if I have mentioned before that I was taking pole dance classes. Anyways, it is a wicked workout and takes lots of strength. Toniht, we will practice holding ourselves up with only our legs, hanging upside down! I can't wait!

Anyways, this is my look for today. I used a discontinued Guerlain quad eyeshadow palette called 'Touche de bronze' #280. Honestly in the palette, the eyeshadows look a shade of green. I don't know if you can tell that it is from these pictures. to me they look brown with a hint of green. In person the eyeshadow is  much darker. I guess the flash distorted the colour a bit.  OH and yes the last photo IS of this look, taken with my MAC camera, the shadow is sooo much darker!
