It has been exactly one month since I first got this cleansing system, and I thought that after 4 weeks of use, that it would be an awesome time to write a review for it.... and plus, I haven't done a review in a long long time....

- I find this does clean much better then regular cleansing because I find that you (or well I) tend to concentrate more time on cleansing each area of the face. 

- Can be used with (almost) any cleanser

- Has two speeds

-Awesome that it is water resistant(to wash face in shower)

-Battery compartment lid was hard to take off

-Not a con but I think that they should create other types of heads, like ones that are more exfoliating or more gentle

- Exfoliating Cleanser that it came with was too harsh to use on a daily basis

Lime Grape: Green and Purple eyeshadow tutorial

R-r-r-rrrrreeeeplay..... Does this look familiar? Well if it does, it's because I posted this look at the end of february.. I received so many compliments on the look and I also saw one of my favourite Youtube Guru's (Petrilude) post a pic of himself with similar makeup not too long after my post and was inspired to do a video tutorial of the look. This has to be one of my favourite colour combinations by far. I personally think it looks great! 
I used a combination of 'unnamed' eyeshadows, Dior and MAC shadows to create this look.
This look would be great for St. Patrick's Day because it has green in it but has a twist to it!

February Favourites: a first

Evening all!
So I am not really one to do "favourites" as you probably have noticed, this is my first of this series. I don't even know if anyone would be interested in what I am favouring for the month... but here goes.

First up is Schwarzkopf got2b smooth operator smoothing hairspray - This has to be the CHEAPEST(as in price) hairsprays that I have bought ever, yet it is one of the only ones that I like! I love it because it does smooth my hair, while leaving it super manageable. Another thing I like about it is the smell. I know. You are not suppose to inhale hairspray but while trapped in a cloud of it while styling, at least this one smells nice. $6.99CAD(ON SALE: $3.99CAD)

Over the past maybe 10 years I have had to deal with acne, and I can finally say that I found something that helps! When I first started this blog I think I did my second post(I don't think anyone read it) about Tanda. What is Tanda? A blue light therapy for acne; basically it kills that p.acne bacteria on the skin which causes acne. 
So why am I featuring it for my February Favourites? Well this month I have had many pimples appear out of "no where" and this little baby has saved me once again. (I wasn't using it for about a month, guess that taught me!) $250CAD/6000 treatments


Here is another favourite for my hair. Nexxus HEAT PROTEXX- Heat protection styling spray; this lovely spray has literally saved my hair from death! 
I tend to curl and straighten my hair quite regularly(every other day) and all this has caused damage to my hair. Thankfully I have noticed a difference when using this baby. It does not smell bad when heated, it does not feel sticky and you can literally not feel it in the hair at all. On top of that, it hydrates the hair, leaving it shiny and smooth. $11.99CAD.


Revlon Custom eyes mascara - I am VERY picky with my choice in mascaras. I actually tend to use false lashes every day. 
The reason I am featuring this mascara is because it has been the best mascara I have found to work with false lashes. It does not clump or flake. The brush is super flexible and is plainly awesome! $8.99-$10.99CAD


Lise Watier Metamorfix liquid transformer - This has to be one of my favourite products. It is awesome to help shadows with little pigment become more pigmented. It makes any powder into liquid, any eyeshadow into a liner or liquid eyeshadow. And on top of that, it makes the product last longer. 

EOS lip balm 'summer fruit' - I love this lip balm(as does everyone who tries it). I love the shape, smell, taste, size, EVERYTHING about it! Just try it... believe me.

Pros: Easy to apply with perfect shaped applicator. It is blend able and matches any skin tone when blended. Wear alone to give a bright highlighted nude lid that is matte. Keeps eyeshadow creaseproof and smudge proof all day long. Allows pigment from shadow to intensify. Makes blending effortless. Contains 12 peptides that actually firm the eyelid. If you wear it under liner, it helps it to not smudge!!
Cons: Sometimes I think there isn't much in the tube.... usually lasts me 3 months, which I guess is not bad but if it were bigger would be great.
The bottom line: My favourite to date lid primer for shadows. I wear it every day as an eyeshadow and when I wear eyeshadow it's always underneath. It is the best one that I have tried and is a staple in my makeup routine.

The bottom line: My favourite smokey eye trio, it's a great palette for beginners or experts. With three for the price, it's a bargain!

Cons: Can be tricky for beginners as it dries fast so you need to work fast.
The bottom line: One of the best liners I have ever used..and it's easy on the wallet!

Pros: Great coverage, one of the best out there. Great texture, doesn't feel sticky. Great colour selection. Well worth the money! a little goes a long long way.

Cons:The colours can seem like the wrong colour if you try them on your hand. however if you try on the area of concern they look great.

The bottom line: Great for those with dark circles, scars or any type of pigmented areas. Fantastic!

The bottom line: Excellent add on to any skin care regime. I would recommend this one.

USAGE: This product needs to be used as the instructions direct. If you use it improperly, you will have a reaction! It is meant to be used once the first week, twice the second week and so on. This is so then your skin builds up tolerance.

It is a silky feeling, lightweight blend of vitamins A & E, grape seed extract and green tea. It helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and large pores. It is oil free and it helps your makeup stay on longer and not blotch. It is the winner of several awards: Best of Sephora Award for Best Primer, one of Marie Claire's "25 Products that will change your life", and an Instyle Best Beauty Buy.

Pros: A light weight texture that is oil free. Does not clog the pores. Allows makeup to glide on. Makes you use less makeup and has skin care benefits to it.

Cons: A body primer would be nice...... be they might be coming out with one ;)

The bottom line: Well worth the splurge! Makes any makeup go on nicely. Feels great.

The Product: Smashbox Liquid Liner Pen
Claim to fame: Liquid liner with precise line. A very dark black colour
Key ingredients: I couldn't find them and through away my packaging but I definitely trust Smashbox as they are all opthamologist tested.
Pros: Stays on all day. Sharp and precise .
Cons: It's limited edition so they don't make it anymore :(
The bottom line: Amazing. Best liner ever made.
