Emma Watson: Lancome Ambassador

She will definitely be the youngest at the age of 20. A few days ago Emma Watson was named the newest of the bunch, as Lancome's Ambassador. The bunch includes Kate Winslet, Julia Roberts, Anne Hathaway and Penelope Cruz. 
She tweeted a couple times last week, giving hints about this new adventure. She later announced the news on Monday morning. She is definitely happy about this new role. 
The President of Lancome international had this to say about the collaborations: "Thanks to her charm, romanticism and her incredible modernity, Emma Watson has become the icon of her generation. We are delighted by the new collaboration with Emma, who brings a fresh spirit to Lancome."
I think she has a great look for Lancome and I think this collaboration is going to be awesome. I can't wait to see the new campaigns with her in it! Finally, some young faces to this old brand.

EOTD: Trendy HUMID Sketch

Odd title no? Just some names of the shadows I used....
Good evening all! I wanted to share with you the makeup that I wore today, really quickly... I wore this look to work today. Was really bored all day and wanted to have some fun with my makeup. I just opened my eyeshadow drawer(yes I do have a WHOLE drawer, almost two of eyeshadow) and took out random shadows and came up with this pretty look.

hehe soo cute.... and so many customers and random train riders commented on how nice it looked too..maybe I need to do a tutorial? I used shadows from Lancome, Smashbox, Maybelline and MAC to create this look.

Wow this is quite a massive haul I have here. It has kinda grown in one day... no I did not buy all these products. I received a lot of these products from my amazing work.

The product: Lancome L'absolu creme de brillance 

Claim to fame: a replenishing plumping cream sheen gloss that is concentrated with Pro-xylane, hyaluronic acid, glycerin and moisture fix complex. 

Ingredients: Key ingredients: Shine boosting oils and light diffusing pearls that provides a rich colour, Pro-Xylane boosts hydration within the skin, Glycerin and hyaluronic acid hydrate lips by pulling water from the environment and help it stay put.

Pros: Unique shaped applicator applies gloss perfectly. Feels like a lip balm. Not sticky at all.

Cons: Tastes a bit funny. Smells like cheap lipstick. 

The bottom line: Great colour. Very moisturizing. A great find.

Pros: This is honestly one of the best mascaras I have ever used. It is amazing at adding volume. It does not clump. Smells great and glides on beautifully.

Cons: Can be tricky to use as it has a unique "S" shaped brush. 

The bottom line: If you can find it. Buy it! Totally worth the money!

Claim to fame: First micro vibrating mineral foundation that lasts 14 hours. The never messy formula mico vibrates 7000 times per minute to break down the mineral so you don't have to buff. It is talc free, oil free, fragrance free and for all skin types.

Ingredients: Active Ingredients: Titanium Dioxide 10.03%

Inactive Ingredients: Boron Nitride, Kaolin, Isononyl Isononanoate, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Alumina, Tocopherol. May Contain: Bismuth Oxychloride, Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxides

Pros: You don't have to buff making this "fool proof". Great coverage and beautiful semi matte finish.

Cons: The sponge gets dirty just like any other and you have to replace it. You can wash it a couple of times but not enough to finish the whole bottle.

The bottom line: A pretty good coverage powder that lasts all day.
