Friday night and I am back again with another look ! I created this look the other day... purely out of boredom and creativity.... I wanted to use colours that I don't usually use.. so I decided to go with silver, baby blue and royal blue. I think it turned out pretty great. I really fell in love with this look, I wish I had somewhere to wear it to that day. What are your plans for the weekend? For myself, I have a few birthday and farewell parties to attend. I did have to work today. Glad I did, it was great! Anyways I hope you have a great one and talk to you soon!
Evening. How has your week been so far? Happy Hump day... and Happy 420 to those who celebrate it (I do NOT! as I do not smoke.... however I love how everyone was in a great mood today!) haha. Today I wanted to show you a look that I created a few days ago. I decided to film the look.... I hope that you can check it out :)
The look was created from an inspirational photo of YSL's Spring 2009 makeup look. I wanted originally to do a look inspired by Easter... as it is just around the corner... and I really liked the colours of this photo, so I thought that they would fit perfectly :)
For those of you wondering, and keeping up with my busy life.. the ABA hair show went well! The hairstylist(who is award winning :) ) really liked the makeup I did. The photo shoot however, that I was suppose to do yesterday was postponed as the photographer was sick :( I did however get two more job offers, so all is well!
I hope all is well with you.... and without further adieu.... enjoy the video!
Yay! for the weekend! How are you doing? What does this weekend have you up to? I miss blogging everyday... but I can never find the time to do it daily anymore.. *insert sad face* This weekend so far I have had to work and had a birthday to attend.. tomorrow and Monday, I am doing makeup for a hair show and Tuesday, I am probably doing makeup for a photo shoot. So, definitely busy busy..... Yesterday, I posted a video on Youtube. It is a tutorial I did, that was inspired by Nicki Minaj's 'Moment 4 life' music video makeup. I changed it a little bit to better suit what I like better. I hope you can check it out and let me know what you think. I have a few videos that I have in mind to film, but I definitely love hearing what you all want to watch! So, let me know in a comment! I already have tons of requests, and I really hope that I can get to all of them soon. All you who have requested, thank you and please be patient with me. I do have three jobs, plus blogging, filming and editing for Youtube as well as all these opportunities for makeup gigs.
I keep hitting the top 100 watched gurus for Canada on Youtube, so thank you all for all of your support.. even if it is just by clicking the PLAY button on my videos. I love you all!
What an awesome weekend that was for me.... I hope you all had a great one as well.... here we are back to the work week.... I did this look this Friday when I went out with my friends and I filmed me doing it... so here is a tutorial.. It was totally inspired by the ocean... which I was thinking about, after the sunny day we had here in Vancouver, I was thinking about the beach... and so why not something inspired by the ocean! Turquoise is definitely one of my favourite colours.. So I absolutely adore this look.... Let me know what you think about it?
Of course I did some camera whoring.. haha...

This definitely has to be the most simple videos I have filmed, for the fact that this is my daily makeup routine. I most likely would not have filmed this, however I was requested to do it many times. So, I finally gave in. As you may notice in the video, I do use quite a bit of products, however I use only a little of each. I love the blend and mix products to get my desired effect. And this is what I like to say is my "artist" side.
Anyways I hope you enjoy watching this video, to me it is routine.... I did film another tutorial today which I hope to have up in the near future... It is the weekend, so I cannot make any promises as to when it will be up.. Have a great weekend! and thanks to ALL my followers/subscribers here on blogspot, youtube, beautylish, facebook, twitter and maycup ! You all make this possible!
Oh, the beautiful and talented Jennifer Lopez.... she is making a HUGE come back in her career! And you know what? Great for her!
I was super stoked when I saw her newest video - On the floor recently. I was definitely in awe of her beauty and her makeup! She looked stunning with only bronzed skin and bronzy eyes.
I, of course wanted to try the makeup out for myself. And thus, a makeup tutorial. Now, before you say "this doesn't look like her" or "this doesn't look like the makeup she has on", I have to say one thing: I was INSPIRED by her makeup, I was not planning to create it to the very shade of the eyeshadow. I think my version turned out pretty well. I was super pleased with it.. unfortunately I had nowhere to go on the day that I filmed this. So I wore it to the veterinarian (Michi and Lima needed their shots). With the lashes on the bottom I definitely got some stares and smiles, but no disgusted looks.
I created this look with no name brand eyeshadows, just simple makeup that I have had from makeup school. And you know what's awesome about this look, I am sure the EVERY girl has brown or taupe eyeshadows that they think are boring... but this is a way to spice it up :) I really hope that you enjoy!!
R-r-r-rrrrreeeeplay..... Does this look familiar? Well if it does, it's because I posted this look at the end of february.. I received so many compliments on the look and I also saw one of my favourite Youtube Guru's (Petrilude) post a pic of himself with similar makeup not too long after my post and was inspired to do a video tutorial of the look. This has to be one of my favourite colour combinations by far. I personally think it looks great! I used a combination of 'unnamed' eyeshadows, Dior and MAC shadows to create this look. This look would be great for St. Patrick's Day because it has green in it but has a twist to it!
What do you think of this look?

If you saw my post a couple days ago, I posted my looks for the week. I got a lot of compliments on my eyeshadow that was pink and grey. So I of course decided to do a tutorial for those that asked for it. I added in a purple to make it a little different... what do you think??
Haha...I obviously had a lot of fun taking picture... Camera Whoreing!! I have to apologize....
You can wear this look for daily use, you can wear it out with friends, to work, or whenever you want.
Not too long ago, one of my favourite Youtube Gurus, Marlena AKA Makeup Geek did a look that she wore on her birthday. I thought the look was super pretty and wanted to try it out. I of course do not have the same products as her, so I recreated the look with similar products that I own. I filmed a tutorial as well.... The look is a mix of gold/pink and purple shadows and glitter. After doing this look, I have to say it is one of my favourite looks. If you follow me regularly, you'll know that because I do love purple :) I do have to apologize as the camera that I use is not the best and at some parts the video seems very pixeled. I do have to invest in a new camera! Other then that, I hope you enjoy this tutorial and if you have any comments, let me know! Thanks so much for watching!
